We are recruiting a Social Media Specialist on a six month fixed-term contract who will have an exciting opportunity to help shape our new digital marketing strategy and bring our ambitious plans to life.
As a key member of the Digital Team, the purpose of the Social Media Specialist is to boost the reach and impact of MHA’s online profile during these critical few months for the charity. The post plays an important role in growing brand recognition, occupancy and fundraising income, as well as developing our membership base, giving voice to our influencing campaigns and supporting with recruitment challenges and opportunities.
The post-holder will manage a portfolio of professional social media channels and develop creative thumb-stopping online content. The role works through collaboration, planning, designing and implementing creative digital content and omnichannel campaigns; this will help to deliver a connected, reassuring and straight-forward customer experience that drives awareness, fuelling deeper relationships and ultimately more supporters and conversions.
The successful candidate will be an expert in their field with a high level of attention to detail and a genuine enthusiasm for new and emerging digital technologies. They will also have the ability to measure and evaluate effectiveness to maximise return on investment.
