The Live at Home Community Programme Co-ordinator is responsible for coordinating and running a programme of activities, the scope of which will vary depending upon local need. All our activities will seek to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness and promote the wellbeing of older people across a range of community settings.
The role will include organising and facilitating Calverley Lunch Club, helping at Penny Lane Dementia Café with a staff member of Pudsey Live at Home and organising the Tai Chi groups. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the recruitment, training and retention of volunteers plus any other activities required including some office administration.
The Community Programme Coordinator will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and so good communication is as important as having strong organisation skills.
For this role the successful candidate must be able to drive to and from activities.
